A fun horror comedy
4 August 2023
Slaughterhouse Slumber Party reminds me a lot of the 1980s style horror movie. You know the ones that don't take themselves to serious by adding humor into the mix.

The special effects are actually really good for an independent horror film.

The story revolves around a group of friends annual Slumber Party. One of the gals invites a strange new gal to the party, hoping that she'll have a good time and not act so weird. Little do they know that the new girl worships Satan. After a fatal pillow fighting accident some of the girls have a body to dump. When the new girl returns to the party as a demon, it's up to the strongest of the gals to try and stop the demon.

SSP is a fun movie for its kind. There's pretty much a character for everyone. You've got the sorta gross just one of the guys gal, a Russian art teacher, a weird librarian, the cop in training, the hippie bookstore owner, etc. I'm sure everyone has their favorite character Moon was my favorite.

Many of the gals are regulars in Dustin Mills films. Fan favorites Erin R. Ryan, Kayla Elizabeth, and Haley J. Madison are in the cast. If you like horror comedy and don't object to gratuitous nudity you're sure to enjoy SSP.

I saw an interview on YouTube where Dustin Mills said the movie what shot on cellphones. That blows my mind.
