This film plunges into the trench of terrible plot, leaving you grasping for coherence. The first movie was also dumb but a million times better than Meg 2. The filmmakers obviously used most of the budget to pay statham and that Asian star and then for some reason decided to scrape the bottom of the barrel for the rest of the cast.
Whatever happened to A list names like Ruby Rose, Li Bingbing and Rainm Wilson ? Why would you try to float the film with a crew of completely unknown, talentless actors who seem to have come straight out of an amateur high school acting class?
