Good film to watch.

Ek Chalis Ki Last Local is a adventure comedy thriller directed by Sanjay Khanduri, starring Abhay Deol and Neha Dhupia.

A young man, misses the last local train at 1:40 am and bumps into a beautiful damsel in distress. This encounter leads to some bizarre and uncanny events that turn their lives upside down.

The time when the film was released was the time when a different breed of directors were taking birth in Indian cinema who was trying to come out of the conventional, steorotyped and monotonous zone of making the same typecast masala films and were trying to do something extraordinary. Some of them got succeeded and some of them got failed but still the best part was that they taught other directors to take risk and try something new and this film is a result of one such approach.

The plot of the film is very simple but execution is very interesting and considering the fact that this film is been shot in between the duration of 1:40 am to 4:10 am the director has done a fabulous job. The film will provide you with the regular dose of thrill, excitement and laughter.

Acting in the film is superb and Abhay Deol has been one of the proven darkest horse of Indian Cinema. Neha Dhupia looked decent. There are lots of supportive characters such as late Vinay Apte, Vinay Shirke, Nawaz, Virendra Saxena, Ashok Samarth and Late Amit Mistry who were equally impressive and effective in their respective roleplay.

Screenplay of the film is gripping and songs are average. Climax of the film is hilarious and ends the film and a happy and satisfying note.

One of the good and unconventional film made in recent times, if you are looking for something different than this is the film for you. A must watch.
