This movie is very similar to "It's a mad mad mad mad world", and there are lots of other movies also similar to that movie. Movies like "Scavenger Hunt" and "Midnight Madness" not only have a similar plot but with new aspects to make it stand out, and also those movies are funny. This movie doesn't have new aspects to make it stand out, and isn't that funny. It's a ripoff. Instead of 1 prize of cash different groups of people have to search around the country for, there's 4 prizes of a million dollars (only 3 of which we actually see the characters search for). The ending is also pretty much the same as "it's a mad mad mad mad world". The characters often make stupid decisions when way better and smarter ones are right in front of them, they often make "witty/funny" remarks, but most of the time they aren't funny, the main cast of characters gets way too big (18 main characters), and they all get different amounts of screen time, which means we barely see some of their personalities, and the some of characters overall are just annoying, and not funny. There is one character you're supposed to root for, but said character is a smartass who thinks he's better than everyone else. Although I am talking about this film in a negative way, I will say some parts were genuinely funny, and they also had a very unique marketing campaign, which was hiding a million dollars somewhere and giving clues to its location at different points in the movie.
