I haven't seen excellent Chinese martial arts dramas for many years. In the summer of 2023, 'Mysterious Lotus Casebook' brought me back the joy of traditional Chinese martial arts films. Cheng Yi's natural performance left a deep impression on me. Cheng Yi did not use a double actor, and the martial arts moves were performed by himself, but his seemingly weak body can burst out with a sense of strength. The martial arts movements are clean and neat, while also embodying a sense of beauty. 18-year-old Li Xiang yi and 28-year-old Li Lian hua, although wearing the same clothes, even their backs can tell the difference. It indicates his excellent acting skills. The entire plot is compact, with all the actors' acting skills online, and excellent clothing, props, makeup, and music. Recommend this film.
