This is an enjoyable adventure thriller starring Roger Moore that's perfect for a Sunday afternoon, plenty of daring do all that's missing is a decent baddie.
Set in the North Sea, it's all about the hijacking of an oil rig by a group of mercenaries including Anthony Perkins (badly miscast in my opinion). Luckily for Britain, and their female Prime Minister (very apt at the time) we have an ace card up our sleeves. Step up Ffolkes (Moore) and his counter terrorist gang save the day and overpower the bad guys.
Ffolkes' character is definitely chauvinistic, especially with the secretary, he prefers cats seemingly. The other characters are nothing to write home about though Lea Brodie shows a bit of spirit as crew member Sanna.
In all a very well made film that's hard to dislike, even Roger's beard and Where's Wally hat.
