NCIS is a spin off from JAG. The episode is called Ice Queen and Harm is charged with murder. Harmon and Weatherly made it into the NCIS show whereas Robyn Lively from Karate Kid 3 and older half sister of Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds's wife, for some reason didn't make the cut. Kate was originally Secret Service but if you've seen the first episode you know the deal. The reason they killed her off was because she told them she couldn't do 18 hour days for however many months it takes to film 22 episodes for a season. I've also heard Harmon is very almost bully like on set. So not knowing how they do their contracts I'd say she was signed on for 2 and told them she was done after her contract was up. I mean they really didn't have to kill her off. But maybe she said she would never come back or Harmon & Bellesario don't like being told no. Bellesario got so bad he was actually asked to leave the show and is only the executive producer in later seasons and you see Harmon and even the longest tenured director of NCIS directing episodes. Sean Murray is Bellesario's step son and the girl who plays Tim's sister is Bellesario's daughter and Chip the lab tech who frames Tony is Bellesario's son and appears in JAG also but playing 2 different characters. Kind of like how Fornell doesn't know Gibbs in the Pilot but they are old pals all through the series. So Sasha jumped right into Rizzoli & Isles then ended up being Lips topless Mrs. Robinson while her husband watched on Shameless. She looked well older than her 40 yo self and more proof that sunscreen is a good thing and fake boobs start looking odd after many years. I've seen all 20 seasons of NCIS and the first 2 would be in my bottom 5. Alan Dale as director kept me just seeing Seth's grandpa in the OC. Ducky has always been great and Jimmys character besides Gibbs has had the worst backstory. I love the new blood now that Gibbs found peace and the show with its new blood can go on for another 5-7 years easily. I hope they let Ducky character die before the actor so he can see how beloved he truly is. The series is great from S3-S13 but Seasons 14, 15, 16 & 17 are kind of stale and S18 starts the changing the shows needs so it doesn't get cancelled. Enjoy.
