At last a German version of Killing Eve, a series which was a great success in the UK recently. There are differences obviously but for me the feel of the pieces were similar (this is not a bad thing).
The amazing Jella Haase is brilliant as the lead character Kleo Straub.
Kleo is an East German spy who kills targets for her employees, but is falsely imprisoned by her bosses. After 3 years and the collapse of the GDR Kleo starts her murderous revenge on anyone who betrayed her.
Like Killing Eve it's played so well by everyone with just the right amount of humour, action and murder to keep the viewer interested.
A second series is on the way, let's it doesn't follow Eve's ever diminishing interest as that would be a sin. I have every faith in Kleo.
