After the pretty enjoyable Goldeneye this is something of a slight disappointment. Brosnan is still good as 007 but the problem lies elsewhere.
The plot is Bond against media mogul Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce), a lightwieght bad guy, as are his henchman including Stamper (Gotz Otto). Love interest is Carver's wife Paris (Terri Hatcher), but she's not in the film long, so that's nil.
Good things, well there mostly when Wai Lin (Michelle Yeoh) is in the movie, the film would've been far better with her in it more. Nice gadgets and always great to see the original Q. The theme by Sheryl Crow is also one of the better recent entries.
