I will not be reviewing in details because I am sure there will be plenty of them, including scenario, cinematography, acting, historical facts and of course the attitude of Disney+. I will only write some issues that I felt uncomfortable:
- The accents of Zubeyde Hanim and Makbule should not be a Greek accent
- A traditional Turkish ballad would fit better when Mustafa Kemal came to his house in Selanique together with Lutfu Bey, where he was showing the acceptance of the relationship of Makbule and Lutfu
- There should be less scenes with alcoholic beverages for the well known reasons of some conservative public opinions
- The attitude change of Mustafa Kemal to the soldiers in Trablus after chatting with Omar have no benefit to the story, and I believe it is not a real fact
- The weakness of the time changes. I believe a regular timeline would be better because the final cut in timelines did not bring big effect to the flow.
