I've binged the first five episodes with my daughter and wife who both loved it - a new take on Wharton with enough pep to keep old (talking about myself rather than the wife) and young hooked from the word go and a soundtrack that will have you reaching for your Spotify account. Actors all great, although few can touch Christina Hendricks in a role she was born to play - more of her please! Am looking forward to next week's episode already hoping that Lizzie will finally find a man worthy of her charms and devotion. Time to bite the bullet and ditch the rat! Costumes splendid and locations deliver everything you could want from a high end period drama. Direction and writing both excellent delivering all the humour and wit that Wharton is renown for. More please!
