Sometimes, when you lose an important one, no word or speech can express that feeling. All you feel is emptiness and silence.
I read the users' review and everyone said the film was too bored, also lack of speech. I'm happy for you guys to not like the movie, 'cause it means you have not experienced something like that.
The scene that the female character ate the pie. It's not just eating, it was forcing herself eating too. She may used to like that pie when her husband was still there. She ate extravagantly, trying to imagine that the pie was still that good. - It was what I experienced.
And someday, you just realized that you have to continue living and you crazily force urself to go out, work, make achievements... You try to escape the sorrow - that's why the female character moved out - that's why I try to not look at pics of my mom again ('cause then i would cry like a baby).
