A Carol Christmas (2003 TV Movie)
7/10
Not bad for what it's worth.

Warning: Spoilers
There are many tellings of A Christmas Carol with every version having their twist to the story.

This one is taking the story to a modern setting as it follows the story of Carol Cartman (played by Tori Spelling) a ego driven tv show host who treats her employees badly such as her assistant Roberta (by played Nina Siemasko)

However the spirit of her Aunt Marla (played by Dinah Manoff) comes to warn her that if she don't change her ways she will be sharing her fate so to help her see the errors of her ways three spirts visit her Ghost Of Christmas Past (Played by Gary Coleman) Christmas Of Christmas Present (Played by William Shatner) and Ghost Of Christmas Future (Played by James Cromwell)

This one felt more like a family comedy as opposed to the original story which I understand considering how they did make a different path with the plot. However they did kept what made the story strong after all these years.

Some of the story telling in this movie felt ridiculous but it is what it is but it is a tv movie after all so the setting is what many tv host shows would be like.

The main cast did their part to help bring the story to life some with a touch of their gift to the movie.

However the movie fell in some of the many of the Christmas Carol such as not including "Bah Humbug" which everyone knows is spoken throughout the movie also the supporting characters didn't fit the narrative of the movie.

Not saying this is a bad movie it's not a bad way to experience a different movie experience.

I give A Carol Christmas an 7 out of 10.
