I somehow missed how it happened that Mickey got off of parole. He was going to flee to Mexico and then, as soon as the FBI boss lost his shot at Director, Mickey is free somehow. Is this kind of plot hole riddled writing going to be gone now that the old showrunner is gone and there are new writers? Probably not.
Mickey is free of his parole officer and has already killed the local pimp and is trying to take over the pimp's string of girls. Mickey is obviously mentally ill and also afflicted with a very low IQ, like maybe a room temperature IQ number. He seems not to notice how stupid he is, borrowing $10k from a loan shark and using Darrel's $70k Mercedes as collateral. Then his big idea is to take half the loan and buy cocaine with it. This is depressing. Why can't Mickey die like every other annoying character does?
This isn't really much of an improvement over Ann Biderman's bad writing. I'm hoping for an improvement. Maybe I'm a false hope idiot like Darrel.
