One of the best movies I have seen all year. This is a must see.

Oh, how glorious this movie was. My soul craves something so deep and so thoughtful as this highly accurate portrayal of the genius, Leonard, Bernstein and his wife. First of all the portrayal using costumes scenery and make up was impeccable, and I felt like I was living in the 50s and the 1960s and the 1970s. The cinematography was beautiful, so I believe this was one of the best parts.

Bradley Cooper once again brings us a stellar performance. He really gets into the role. And again, Carrie Mulligan also brings one of the best performances of her lifetime. This duo so accurately portrayed, the relationship between these two people, the intricacies, the tension, the love, the guilt and the absolute devotion.

I had to go back and look at a biography of Leonard Bernstein, as I never knew these facts about him. Oh, how the times were different when you couldn't come out as gay. So many times you had to have a woman as a façade. Not only was this tragic for him, but it was tragic for his wife and the children. They did such a good job with this.

I wonder why they're not more movies like this. Good job everyone.
