First, let me say that I loved the movie called one day that was made in the 2000s. It was one of my favorite movies and I've watched at least five times. The actors were better the story was better, etc. So this is just a remake of something that was just done 15-20 years ago. But I commend the writers of this for recognizing that there was a sleeper of a movie out there that needed to be remade. So I'm kind of glad for that because I like the premise.
It's kind of strange, because I like the actors, but they are very lackluster. They were probably just working within the script they had. But it's really good to see fresh faces. The young man is a very good actor and I see an amazing future for him. The young lady was also a good actress, but they seemed like a mismatch. I didn't feel the chemistry. I think I felt it more from her side than his.
One thing I really liked about this TV series was the music. Whoever did the music did an amazing job and it makes it so much more tolerable to hear this awesome music from that time period.
I'm only on episode five so I might come back and increase the ratings, but for now it's between 7-8. I needed more feeling, I needed more passion. People want to feel emotions, whether it be excitement or sadness or happiness. We want to feel it. I didn't really feel like that much.
But overall it was pleasant.
