Say what you will about the writing, the animation, or the songs. Donkey Kong Country lives up to its videogame counterpart's expectations and is the best series to ever be broadcasted on tv.
So much to praise here. Donkey Kong's singing voice is godly. I dream about his big hairy badonkey-donk every night. Eddie the Mean Old Yeti is something Nintendo never, and probably never will consider, and I hate to live with that fact. He would've been good in Tropical Freeze. I however give it a 9/10 because Diddy Kong is the most jarring character in this adaptation. Diddy's singing is the polar opposite of DK's singing. Donkey's singing makes me levitate, Diddy's singing makes my ears bleed.
