I am not a big fan of really zanny gross comedies - but this plays it nice and safe, and was refreshingly fun.
There is quite a bit of silliness but this film keeps its feet firmly on the ground.
The cast are great and work well as a team to set John Cena up for some great jokes.
This has a classic feel about it where it doesn't try too hard to be too mad or too clever.
The story is nice and lean, you could write the whole plot out in a few lines, and amongst the jokes there are a few welcome moments of sadness and tenderness.
