An amazing episode which I hadn't heard about in the Twilight Zone history. But don't understand why because it pushes such a punch. I'm really annoyed as I was in the middle of a great review a couple of days ago but it disappeared before I could submit (a bit TZ in itself). So this second time around I doubt I'll be as profound in my review.
But basically this episode isn't just about beauty in the eye of the beholder - a reference in relation to another, of course super classic episode with that title.
It goes further with obsession not only with beauty standards that have always been in every era of human society!
But also about individuality versus conformity, and authoritarianism! It only loses 1 star for its sad but probably realistic ending!
