As mentioned in my title I remember seeing this story, probably when I was even a teenager or younger, but don't remember when or how. Maybe I saw it at school, my school actually showed some classic stories and films! I know I knew at the time who Diana Hyland was as being the girlfriend of John Travolta and dying so young. She does an amazing job here!
But I would never have remembered this being a Twilight Zone episode until, as I am in the midst of watching episodes in succession, I see this one coming up and realize omg this is this mysterious, memorable story! I can't wait to see it again after all these years!
And It definitely doesn't disappoint! It's an amazing twist which I mainly recollected the outcome of. An absolutely fantastic episode that if seeing for the first time you REALLY don't see the twist coming! I remember the collective gasp of those around me when we saw it!
