Throughout the many years of delving into the history of film and television, this drama is indeed a standout in the Italian department, and is a very raw and compelling series overall.
The actors all do an incredible job, as one would expect from such a great cast, and the hardships, high emotions and overall subtelity and nuances ate conveyed splendidly. All of this accompined by a stellar script, recounting the post war era in interesting and well paced fashion.
The cinematography, cutting and editing is incredible, very beautifully put together and very feature worthy.
