For the first few seasons I was riveted at the different plots coming with each season. After 5 seasons I thought the series had started to fade from rehashed plots, characters, dialog, bangs and booms. Even this season started off slow, for me, made interesting only by the sexual tension between Renee and Jack. Her death was a huge disappointment for me, However, the trail of bodies Jack leaves once discovering the true perpetrators, especially, at the Russian delegate's office was cathartic. Leaving the action out of that office scene, and just showing the results, left one just creating one's own images of what happened.
