It's a Netflix anthology horror series produced by Guillermo del Toro. Obviously, he's drawing inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock. Part of the Hitchcock charm is his fun comedic-toned introductions. Guillermo is not quite that. Nevertheless, his name holds a lot of sway. Anthology series do have a lot of ups and downs. Each episode is relying on itself. Guillermo's openings are the consistent connective tissue. He has two writing credits. The episodes are done by other filmmakers and some even newcomers. There are memorable episodes. The stories can be a little simplistic. They are about an hour long.
