Loved the movie impeccable costumes designs. Equally as great were the set designs. I enjoyed watching the chemistry between Jeanne DuBarry (played by Maiwenn) and King Louis (played by Johnny Depp). Maiwenn is an incredible director and captivating main character. Looking forward to more collaborations from Maiwenn. After viewing this film I will definitely be seeing it a second time. The drama, the tragedy and absurdity of their opulence was mesmerizing to watch on the big screen. Really glad that it was not dubbed in English. Their French was impeccable and made the film that much better. I would recommend this film to anyone and everyone. It was suspenseful, romantic, all around excellent.
