This is amazing in its execution!

Tim Robbins acting is perfectly brilliant as the exec in trouble.

All the other actors both playing themselves and playing roles are also brilliant! I saw this when it first came out! Loved it then and thought it was time to watch it again and I'm doing it right now and it's fantastic. I have forgotten most things about the plot so it's perfect to watch again! Special mention to Whoopi Goldberg and Lyle Lovett as the cops. The two scenes I do remember is the tampon scene between those cops in their office. And the other is The Malcom McDowell/ Andy McDowell scene and taking about the third Roddy McDowall all not bring related.

So many hilarious scenes like that as well as a great homage to film noir and biting but fun commentary on the film industry. Suspenseful in a slow burn way and funny, Absolutely amazing!
