Mátyás Blazsek (S. Z. Sakall) is a photographer who wants to make a sensation - so he thinks out a smart plan. He sends her daughter (Éva Szörényi) on a train to meet the young and famous inventor, Miklós Dénes (Imre Ráday) who is just coming from Paris. Blazsek would like to make a photo about him when he's falling on the platform on a melon rind what he put there before. Dénes slips and on the taken photo he's clinging to the girl. The picture is published on the newspaper with the caption "Miklós Dénes and his bride". At first they remonstrate with the editor upon the caption, but then they fall in love - although he really has a bride.
The cast members were generally known and beloved actors in Hungary at that time, they made a lot of movies (first of all comedies) in the pre- war years and even after-wards. Internationally known is Szőke Szakall (or S.Z. Szakall) who played also in many German films in the 1930s and after his emigration to the USA he made his most famous role: you could see him as Carl, the fat waiter in 'Casablanca'. As for this title, similar romantic comedies were made in those days by the dozen: we can say this is not near outstanding. It's quite funny, but there are also jokes which are far-fetched and dated.
