Pinky Tomlin headlines a two-reel short in which various entertainers perform: singer Joy Hodges, acrobatic dancer Lucille Page, eight-year-old classical pianist Mary Ruth, and a nonet of elderly ladies who sing. It's not awful, but I wasn't thrilled.

The only one I recognized was Tomlin, who is best known for as the songwriter who composed "The Object of My Affection", which Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer gargled in far too many Little Rascals shorts. The others are a motley combination of middling talent, meant to make up a variety short for the theater owner to offer his audience in place of the live show that movie palaces of the era boasted of.
