Not as bad as you might think...

Normally I'm not a big fan of Dirch Passer, but the crazy comedy aside, this movie shows how a vacation could be spent in the early days of charter tourism in the 60s and 70s. Dirch Passers character, Gudmund, is based on a mix between the personalities of the owners of the two biggest travels agencies of the time in Denmark: Eilif Kroager (who was indeed a priest) of Tjæreborg travels and Simon Spies (a flamboyant playboy) of Spies travels. The movie is quite short (76 min) so you don't get to tired of the silly storyline. Also Else-Marie Hansen has a nice performance as a cigar smoking, fernet branca drinking, ministry of ecclesiastical affairs official.
