It’s been a long time coming, but a remake of the 1994 film The Crow (which was based on the comic book series created by James O’Barr) will finally be making its way out into the world on August 23rd, which is when Lionsgate will be giving the film a theatrical release. With that release date swiftly approaching, we figured we should gather together all the information we have on this movie… and here it is, Everything We Know About The Crow Remake:
Development Hell
When the original The Crow was released, it was successful enough to spawn a franchise, with three sequels following over the next eleven years. We got The Crow: City of Angels in 1996, The Crow: Salvation in 2000, and The Crow: Wicked Prayer in 2005, with several other potential sequels (including one that would have been written and directed by Rob Zombie) being developed and scrapped along the way.

Stellar Blade has continued to make headlines right from the time of its initial announcements, for reasons both good and bad. Shift Up’s first-ever console game launched on PlayStation on April 26, 2024, amidst much hype, and also received a favorable reception from critics and fans.
Stellar Blade
Several players have appreciated the game for its story, combat system and others, however, there are a lot of fans who disappointed by the Stellar Blade day one patch released by the developers. The day one patch added the New Game Plus feature to Stellar Blade. But that wasn’t what bothered the players. The patch significantly changed the multiple in-game outfits
Fans feel scammed by Stellar Blade‘s censored outfits
Just days prior to the launch, the devs posted a statement on their official X handle regarding the censorship status of the game. The post dated April 21, claimed that the game will be “uncensored worldwide.

The MCU has several projects lined up for release in the coming years, including the ‘Blade’ reboot. This reboot aims to introduce the iconic vampire hunter to the MCU.
Mahershala Ali proposed the project and will star as the titular character. Initially planned for a 2023 release, the movie has been delayed to 2025 (so far) due to Ali’s dissatisfaction with the script.
The movie went through a rough development phase, with the story changing several times and Mahershala nearly quitting at one stage. Some actors, like Aaron Pierre, also dropped out for reasons not disclosed. Recent reports suggest the movie’s plot has been simplified, focusing solely on Blade hunting vampires, and filming is set to begin in Mexico. According to industry insider Daniel Richtman, who has a solid track record, Wesley Snipes is rumored to make a comeback in the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, appearing in multiple undisclosed projects.

Stellar Blade is almost upon us, and fans couldn’t be more excited to see Hyung-Tae Kim’s vision come to life. The illustrator-turned-ceo has worked tirelessly on this project, and what we have seen so far has impressed fans and critics alike.
The animation and dynamic environments stand out the most, but attention to detail is not limited to just the background set pieces. A lot of effort and thought was put into the characters in the game, with one aspect that greatly extended timelines. It seems Shift Up was inspired by Rocksteady when it comes to nailing fluid textures.

It’s always great when studios are more focused on quality as opposed to timelines. Few things are as disappointing as an unpolished game.

According to an X post, a former employee of Bethesda, The Axis Unseen creator, talked about how he wanted to make the planet more full of life and not so procedural. Some players are even comparing it to Fallout, saying that this game has a more developed world.
Starfield had all the potential to be the next greatest game of Todd Howard and company Starfield had the potential to really make a difference.
Last year, Bethesda finally released the great space exploration game, Starfield, to reviews ranging from average to great. However, a significant number of fans expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome, particularly due to some poorly implemented features.

Just a glance at Stellar Blade is enough to understand that it is designed for adults. Given the target audience, there is going to be content that many would describe as graphic. Any media containing such depictions has one sworn enemy: censorship.
While each country is different when it comes to censorship, developers end up making some cuts and changes. So, when developers announce their titles are going to be uncensored, the gaming community is understandably excited. That’s the case with Shift Up’s upcoming sci-fi slasher.
Stellar Blade to Release Uncensored Globally
No cuts were made in Stellar Blade‘s global release!
When it comes to securing product release, companies and manufacturers must bend the knee to many laws and regulations. Dealing with so many rating boards can get hectic, and if the developer is targeting a specific age rating, it may require significant changes to the game to achieve it.

The new ‘Blade’ reboot is definitely one of the most exciting MCU projects for several reasons. Many fans are thrilled that the famous vampire slayer from the comics is returning to the big screen.
The original ‘Blade’ trilogy was so successful that it saved Marvel from bankruptcy at one point. Many people believe that this movie paved the way for the rest of the MCU.
When Mahershala Ali proposed rebooting ‘Blade’ to the studio, he probably didn’t realize how tough it would be. The movie was initially set for a 2023 release, but due to Ali’s dissatisfaction with the script, the release date was pushed to 2025 (so far). The project underwent several rewrites.
A few months ago, Michael Green was brought in for rewrites, with the aim of keeping the “R” rating at all costs, as Demange stated several months ago.

The upcoming ‘Blade’ reboot is certainly one of the most exciting MCU projects due to several reasons. Plenty of fans are elated with the fact that the comics’ most notable vampire slayer is making a grand return to the big screen.
The original ‘Blade’ trilogy was so successful at one point it saved Marvel from bankruptcy and plenty of people believe that it was that movie that pawed the way for the rest of the MCU.
When Mahershala Ali approached the studio with the idea of rebooting ‘Blade,’ he probably had no idea just how difficult the process would be. The movie was originally supposed to come out in 2023, but the release date was pushed all the way to 2025 (so far) due to Ali not exactly being happy with the script. The project faced numerous rewrites.

While Marvel only has one theatrical release this year with Deadpool and Wolverine, 2025 seems to be a packed year for the franchise. Apart from Captain America: Brave New World and The Fantastic Four, the MCU will also see Mahershala Ali’s Blade making it to the big screens in November 2025.
After multiple delays due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes and key personnel changes, Ali’s Blade is reportedly headed for filming in the summer. According to Jeff Sneider, the team behind the film has finally cracked a script that will satisfy fans of Blade and that they would be headed to film in New Mexico.

Mahershala Ali has been attached to the Blade reboot for what seems like almost an eternity now. The actor’s casting was received very well. Most importantly, he is not a new face to Marvel fans, since he played Cottonmouth in Luke Cage.
The actor is very well-respected in the industry, owing to his charming personality and acting chops. However, his turn as the Daywalker in the Marvel reboot is still up in the air, with the production yet to take off. If rumors are to be believed, the film looks set to make yet another change, thereby raising questions about Ali’s possible MCU debut.

A few months back, there were strong rumors about the release of Xbox-exclusive games on other platforms, such as the PS5. The launch of Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, and other first-party titles on the Sony console confirmed this.
However, rumors are circulating that Starfield and Elder Scrolls: Blade will eventually also come to PlayStation 5. A well-known gaming insider on X/Twitter, who even disclosed the job offer on LinkedIn, made this discovery and added that this idea of making the game multiplatform existed before the Microsoft acquisition.

If you keep up with our updates, you’ve probably noticed that ‘Blade’ gets mentioned almost weekly. We often share news about plot changes and delays. It’s safe to say this movie’s had a rough time in development – there have been a lot of rewrites and some big names backing out. The latest rumors, from Daniel Richtman, just confirm what we shared a few weeks back: ‘Blade’ won’t be a period piece anymore, and Mia Goth is still set to play the villain.
Additionally, it’s said that the movie will connect to the ‘Midnight Sons’ project. Currently, it’s set in the present day. Michael Green has reportedly been brought in for rewrites and is now the sole scriptwriter for the movie.

Stranger Things Joseph Quinn star has voiced his thoughts about Matt Shakman’s soon-to-shoot Fantastic Four, which will bring Marvel’s First Family into the MCU.
Given that things have taken a dip for Marvel Studios in the last couple of years, there’s a fair amount of pressure on the soon-to-shoot Fantastic Four. Along with the oft-mentioned ‘superhero fatigue’ argument, another reason often put forth for the declining interest in Marvel’s output has been that the studio has increasingly focused on less celebrated characters.
That’s all set to change though, and you’d have to be pretty brave to bet against Marvel coming up short when it debuts The X-Men and The Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both superhero ensembles rank among Marvel’s most popular characters and as such, there’s a general feeling that if any project can begin to right the Good Ship Marvel,...

It’s crazy to think that the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) could have had R-rated movies, but the circumstances did not permit it to, most especially because the superhero films were tailored for the general public viewing. But, did you know that 2012’s The Avengers was almost given an R-rating?
Marvel Studios’ The Avengers
That’s definitely a surprise for everyone, but yes, even before the introduction of 2016’s Deadpool and 2017’s Logan, Marvel Studios was on the verge of bringing a slightly gory comic book film to life.

If there was one thing that was going to tempt movie-goers into cinemas for some mid-budget vampire action in 2003, it was probably Bill Nighy as a vampire overlord. Or, was it the marketing campaign featuring a leather clad Kate Beckinsale? I’ll let you decide… The early noughties had already brought some decent vampire action, before we were subjected to the shimmering embarrassment to the genre that was the Twilight saga. We were also just a few short years away from seeing some proper kick-ass, sexy vampire action on the small screen with Hbc’s excellent True Blood series. The vampire genre was starting to show some signs of a re-awakening, and films such as the fun but flawed Queen of the Damned from 2002 and, of course, the awesome Blade series, were leading the bloodsucking way.
Vampires have always been a popular form of escapism for audiences and they’re still massively popular now.

Video games have carried the legacy of Iron Man since Robert Downey Jr. stepped down as the billionaire superhero in the movies. However, the attempt hasn’t been very fruitful as the character’s presence in Marvel’s Avengers didn’t exactly become the apple of the fans’ eyes. Still, efforts haven’t been stopped yet and the fan-favorite superhero is reportedly getting a standalone open-world game.
Open-world games are fun but the superhero genre is more inclined towards a linear narrative. Still, games like Marvel’s Spider-Man and its associates have become standard for open-world in this bracket. Whenever a developer goes out to do something new, people are surprised. Some support them, others don’t, but once the development starts, it usually results in a brand-new game. Shift Up, the developer of the upcoming PlayStation 5 action game Stellar Blade, went through such situations too. They were previously discouraged from working on this game by a bunch of people.

Is it because of great optimization on Shift Up’s side, or is the game not as long as everyone had anticipated? That seems to be the latest topic of discourse in the community.

Stellar Blade‘s download size is a blessing in disguise for people with terrible internet.

Spiders, in particular, led some of the worst infestations on screen in the early 2000s. And on the underbelly of this creeping new wave — specifically the direct-to-video sector — hangs an overlooked offering of spider horror: Arachnid.
