Not quite!
cfc_can29 August 2000
At first, it looks like this will be a serious look at the trouble an unknown writer must go through just to get his/her written work read. However, the film then turns into a romantic comedy as the male producer that the main character (Alex) sends her script to, falls in love with her and becomes her script doctor. Of course, he now has a prime motivation to become her script doctor and it's not simply Alex's talent. The message this film seems to make is offensive to most writers. What's worse, the comedy is forced and unfunny and the main guy seems way too old for Alex .

Where to begin. I have watched this on television a number of times. They play it alot as I think the director gave it to the station for free or something. I dont know if I should laugh or cry. The film is well shot and very well edited. But the main actress is obviously still learning her craft. It is obvious that this is her first role ever as her performance is that of a student film star. Just when the film starts to show merit, the lead actress appears nude and destroys the entire production. Avoid this.
