Takes place in the late 19th/early 20th century Mölle, but looks like Legoland...

This is a German farse written ny Franz Arnold and Ernst Bach. The original title is Der Keusche Lebemann. The play is about a gray and aged bachelor who suddenly becomes the dream prince of all women as it begins to circulate rumors that in his youth he had a relationship with a famous movie star.

But this doesn't age well. Although the play supposedly takes place in the late 19th/early 20th century tourist resort Mölle, the theater props looks like something they brought from Legoland.

And as is typichal of Poppe's plays at Fredriksdal, there is unfortunately never a real story payoff. The story just ends pretty abruptly.
