Has become very irritating
Barrnstormer26 February 2011
I used to enjoy watching You've Been Framed. But since it decided to take a leaf out of it's American counterpart shows and introduce a very annoying, far from funny commentary on every single clip, it's become unwatchable for me. How anybody can say the scripted nonsense that Harry ruins the show with is beyond me. Next thing we know, we'll have stupid sound-effects dubbed over the clips, like when somebody is jumping up and down we have to hear a cartoonish "Boing Boing Boing" sound dubbed on. If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a look at one of the American equivalent shows. Not funny. Complete rubbish. And for the information of other viewers who's comments I've read above, Jeremy Beadle "stopped doing it" and "left" because he had died.

Tired Format Partially Saved By Harry Hill

"You've Been Framed" should have been killed off many years ago when Jeremy Beadle left. Lisa Riley and Johnathan 'I'm mates with Robbie Williams' Wilkes really drove it to rock bottom with increased unnecessary presenting from the studio with incredibly corny jokes. This left precious little time for any actual clips making the show unwatchable.

Harry Hill has saved the show to some extent by removing the studio element and making a commentary that is nearly always far more entertaining than the clips themselves. There is a definite limit however on the amount of fun that can be got from people falling off swings, getting hit in the groin, dancing embarrassingly at weddings until their trousers fall down, etc. etc. The only clips with any real laughter value are those involving animals as these are generally less set-up. Sadly the number of these is outweighed by spoilt children crying about unwanted Christmas presents or just babies smiling at the camera (side-splittingly hilarious I don't think).

The clips remain the same and are often repeated from many series ago. I noticed they have even started blanking out the year when it appears on the camcorder display, probably because they are too ashamed to admit they came from the late 80's/early 90's. As it is far too many of them are set up and it is tiresomely obvious. You only need to stop and think why somebody would actually be filming that event to spot them.

Harry Hill is wasted here and should concentrate on other projects such as TV Burp which is excellent, indeed the Christmas special was one of the few highlights of the seasonal schedule.

Sadistic dimwits heaven.

This show should have been buried with Beadle. It was utter tedium then but amazingly got worse when Lisa Riley became host. It has now climbed to the lofty heights of 1 out of 10 because Harry Hill is slightly less annoying than his predecessor. If you have an IQ lower than the animals featured in this show or like ambulance chasing then you will love this. It is an advert for why the NHS is stretched to its limits. Why not camp outside A&E and save money on your licence fee.

Let's enjoy kids getting hurt !

This show has just become unwatchable unless you get off on watching people and kids really hurting themselves. It used to be funny but now all you see is painful stuff . I always end up thinking if they left the clips running for a extra minute there would be a lot of blood and ambulances involved.

Hill brings back the sparkle!

This show is the perfect warm up to a Saturday night- whether that be a night on the town or a night in front of the telly. It appeals to all ages and Harry Hill's excellent banter certainly livens things up for the adults.

This show had lost some of its sparkle when fronted by Lisa Riley and Jonathan Wilkes (both of whom had no presenting experience and is showed), but Harry Hill has managed to not only make this show great again but better than it has been since the days of Beadle.

I love this show and would call it one of the highlights of my weekend, at 24 years of age i have certainly been watching it most of my life and long may it continue.

I have an iq of 3+ so I can't find this funny
harrygreensmith5 July 2021
The humour is extremely low brow in comparison to my large intellectual brain, so I am very sorry to say that this show is not funny. The ridiculous canned laughter and abhorrent 'jokes' insult my intelligence, and H. Hill's voice is far too annoying for my taste. Therefore I do not recommend this awful show. Thanks for reading.

More laughs per minute than any other comedy on the box

The only reason you could have for knocking this show is if you haven't seen it since Harry Hill took over.

Every 10 seconds you are guaranteed a giggle - and if one clip raises a minor titter, you mere seconds to wait before the next clip comes on and delivers you a belly laugh.

Harry and his team of writers should be commended on taking what was a tired and dated format to a new level - the kids will still love the falling over and the grannies knickers, but I can now laugh at the risqué gags that are flying over the young'uns heads! And with the use of camcorders on the decline, the introduction of mobile phone videos show that the programme is remaining in touch with the You Tube generation - as long as it doesn't descend into happy slapping, I'm all for it! If Harry and the producers can keep the show as entertaining as this new series, here's to the next 18 years of Framed!

Dear God! How big can woman be?

OK, we've had more than 10 years of this now? it won't get any funnier you know. there's only so many times we can laugh at a cat opening a door, a dog on a skateboard, a child hitting his father in the groin, someone falling into a paddling pool, a diving board breaking or a baby being scared of a jack in a box. Put this miserable show out of its misery soon and let us together condemn Lisa Riley to her true place of T.V anonymity.

It did, however, give Beadle a few more years after Beadle's About which can't be a bad thing.

When will it end?

You've been framed is way past it's sell-by-date! It used to be funny, but lost it's spark years ago!

It is no longer filmed in front of a live studio audience because people stopped wasting their lives going there.

The only reason people watch it now is because of Harry Hill's funny comments, so basically, Harry Hill is saving it from behind axed.

The clips are always the same= People falling down and getting "hurt". It should be re-named "All Fall Down" and aimed at 5-year olds.

I can't wait til Harry Hill leaves You've Been Framed so it will finally be axed, like it should have been years ago.
