Brilliantly Sad, Beautiful Film

The title says it all. I was blown away, if you'll pardon the expression. Following on the heels of Powell's Peeping Tom, it almost matches that film classic in progressing truly disturbing psychological horror in contemporary cinema.

An overlooked masterpiece

the pervert is an often overlooked masterpiece, it's hard to be found, but if you can find a copy of it, rent it or just buy it, because it'll be in your top ten list, the acting is phenomenal and the direction is magnificent, beautifully shot and an elegant music score. 10/10
