Not So Much a Mystery as just WEIRD!
ameliasolum6 May 2005
Not exactly a "movie" per se, more of a "Made For Television Movie." There was a very low-budget quality to the movie. It's genre is supposed to be a "mystery" but as I mentioned in my title, it really isn't. This is definitely just an odd movie. I've heard it said that this movie was actually based on a short story written by Screenwriter Holiday Reinhorn. Since the movie runs for roughly ninety minutes, my guess is that although it was intended to be a short story, the director,Eva Ilona Brzeski, just drew it out longer and longer and longer then it was meant to be. It stars Leah Curney (her 1st movie) who is a high school volleyball player who has mysteriously (or so the movie proclaims) disappeared. It's filmed as a 'documentary style' movie in that a reporter is interviewing the volleyball stars friends and family about her disappearance and how it has affected them etc. But it jumps around and basically make no real sense in a lot of separate places. WARNING: STAY AWAY! I have no more to say. It is too difficult to describe. So just heed my warning. Thanks.
