Underrated movie

One of the best scripts by MT. Very good direction by Hariharan sir. I was a little sad to see that it only had a 7.1 rating whereas movies like kuch kuch hota hain and kabhi khushi kabhi gham have even more. Its really sad. Mohanlal is awesome in this movie and was one of the reasons for me to watch this movie.

Only MT could have penned such a story....

Warning: Spoilers
Doctor Ram Das(Mohanlal) works in a small village clinic, which is run by his sister's father-in-law(and his to be father-in-law).During his visit to a poor Brahmin's aged wife he realizes that their son was murdered in the Medical college hostel during a ragging session lead by him. That feeling haunts him and as a repentance he decides to take care of that poor family .And just for that reason he started loosing everything one by one. Lalettan plays the hapless doctor to perfection. You have to see this movie to believe it. Such a mesmerizing script and story could only be penned by maestros such as M.T. and directed by the prodigy, Hariharan.

Finest of all time

This look like one of the finest of all time. The roles played all are excellent. But Mohanlal steals the show with exceptional acting talent.

A must watch for growing adults - Avoid wrong or face guilt

This is a Malayalam film starring Mohanlal. It's an excellent film created by Hariharan and written by MT Vasudevan Nair.

The film is a profound lesson on morality and a must watch for every teenager and college goer for its message.

The film is about a doctor and how the guilt of having caused a death by ragging weighs on him his entire life. Until he seeks forgiveness and redemption.

The film gets slow paced in the middle to get into the nuances of the impact in his personality and life situations. How maturity dawns in based on this single incident and the ramifications across his life. So each scene is significant. There is a scene where the protagonist Dr Haridas is holding on to a glass of water while listening to another person speak. He doesn't have a single dialogue but you can see he is attentive. That is the depth of characterisation and performance achieved.

I consider this as one of Mohanlal's best and most versatile performances. A must watch film!

What a slow dragging movie! Acting by lal is great as usual. But this story to come into sense took a while, almost quit the movie.
