A collection of masterpiece videos
shanfloyd17 February 2003
This is a fine collection of masterpiece Bryan Adams videos. The three of them, "Summer of 69", "Run to you" and "Heaven" are my favourite ones. The alternate black-and-white and color effects in "Summer of 69" is very finely applied. The shooting location is quite well chosen. The action in the warehouse and the performance thereafter are magnificient examples of camera work.

"Heaven", as the song itself, catches a very romantic and reflective atmosphere. Here 25-year-old Bryan acted well. "Run to You" is the video where Bryan finds himself in superb set designing and cinematography which was a rare item in music videos of that time. This video basically should be considered one of the best ever. The shots of Bryan playing guitar in rain and storm are well directed and shot. The scene of Bryan's union with Natalie is also fine.

All the videos in this collection have some fine band performance sequences that a true rock fan would never want to miss. This is really the breakthrough incident for the rock star.

Bryan Adams career breakthrough!
j.eaton12 March 2002
I have owned this video since it was released back in 1984! Five of then 25 year old Bryan's breakthrough hits are included from his 1984 album Reckless and one from 1983's Cut's Like A Knife which is actually the album that made his music career take off! If you pay attention to the videos it's actually a story of Bryan finding an old girlfriend!
