Ninety Days is a short film based on a true story. The film is set in South Africa in the late 1960s. Helen who's boyfriend, Oliver, has been detained under the 90 day ruling attempts to communicate with her boy friend by concealing messages in the food she bring for him. The film was made by students from The Surrey Institute of Art and Design in England and was part of the Fugi sponsorship programe in 2000.

This as-yet unknown director has created a passionate film about sexual tensions in the heart of the city of angels. Johnathan, a lonely ex-student becomes entranced with Emma, who works at a nearby peanut salting factory. The story then spirals as the two become entwined in a plot to save Brian, the lover of Ian's childhood sweetheart Amanda. I would recommend this to all fans of De Palma and Scorcese as well as those looking for an aimless thrill before a long walk.
