This is a short done by the Hubley Studio. There will be mild spoilers ahead:
I've watched this short repeatedly over the last two days and I don't know how many times over the last few years.I don't even remotely understand it all even so. But I'll try to do it some justice.
It plays with time and reality, set to one of the best scores I've heard on a Hubley short At the beginning, there are dinosaurs and time seems to flow backwards.
There are several segments, with written titles spoken aloud. The animation is timed to the beat and can be mesmerizing. It's done in the style Hubley Studio developed over the years, with interaction between humans and animals. It's a fascinating piece and I'm not sure I care if I ever completely grasp what Faith Hubley had in mind. I'll just enjoy it in any case.
This short is on The Hubley Collection, Volume1 and is well worth tracking down. Most recommended.
