James Bond copy with all standard bollywood masala added
vkap-1325223 July 2017
OK. This is NOT great but it is so cheesy and full of bollywoodisms that it is more humor than thriller. An attempt to copy James Bond movies with baddies intent on world domination but with so many Hindi movie traps that Broccoli couldn't ever have imagined. Two secret agents instead of one who first hate each other but then get together. Each paired with a typical ideal leading lady, more songs than you can tolerate in a thriller and even kidnapped maa. Throw in lots of farz, usual masal dialogs, shake well and serve with a side of songs and comedy. Just like in James Bond movies, the heroes seem past their prime and in need of better belts to stop their paunches from running ahead of them.

Boring

Years ago Padero hired the services of Marco and his two companions for taking revenge for the murder of his sons. As Marco had both money and muscle he let loose a reign of terror in the world, created a rift between the Government of India and of Ringania. He also drove a wedge between Carlo and Ashwini Kumar, top secret police officers of those countries. A struggled ensued between the two in which, Kaza, alegendary interpol officer, interceded. Carlo fell in love with Pame- la Singh and Ashwini Kumar with Anita. They made up their differances and fought Marco to eradicate the terrorism.

Sanjeev Kumar and Shatrughan Sinha act fine as usual but they can't save this espionage film from being a bore fest. The story looked enticing but the film itself lacks cohesion, is complicated and there's too much chatting. I just persevered because of the cast involved. Some good action but that's all.
