very solid independent film
haddonfieldhalloween9 December 2014
I have seen this film a few times. IT is a low budget film but well done throughout. I think the story line is very good and much of the dialogue and writing is good. The performances overall are solid and there are several laugh out loud moments. The thing that stands out during the film is the music. The songs are catchy and appropriate for the film even though they are not performed by big named artists. I especially like the song that the movie closes with. The idea of the book Biggus McGiggus is very good and ties the story up well, especially the final scene on the couch. The lead Jennifer is very attractive which also helps make the film enjoyable. While no frills or car chases, this film is warm and moves at a great pace. I definitely recommend this film, about a 3 star film. The writer did a nice job on this project.

Totally enjoyed it - solid acting - time capsule for SF

I stumbled across this movie after adding the free "Local Now" channel to my Roku.

Streaming it in 2022 makes me feel nostalgic for SF from the turn of the millennium - wish we could recapture those times. Loved each one of the actors - all seemed so genuine.

While it's not a musical, the nicely done original soundtrack songs give it a touch of Broadway appeal.

Do not miss this movie, if, * you have ever lived in or near SF, * have never been to SF, * want to see what SF used to look and feel like, * enjoy acting over action, * enjoy romantic comedies.

OMGosh, IMDB will not let me post anything less than 600 characters. What else can I say? Please check out this movie!

It's been two decades, looking forward to the sequel. :)
