Online gamers and those who like action figures and will especially enjoy this film. It is a humorous account of two bumbling robbers who set up an elaborate diorama using a multiplicity of toy action figures to plan their heist. The figures are depicted as shot, dismembered and nuked in their attempt to plan for every contingency. Geist and Adams make you believe in their characters, one obsessed with the military precision of the plan, the other a cowardly tag-along unwilling to forsake his friend. The film leaves you longing to see how their diorama will change as their present robbery fails and they begin plans for an even bigger one. The quality of the cast and crew are apparent in this well made film. To director Bradley King I would ask, "Is a full-length version coming out? Please?" Action Figures is a real hoot. Don't miss it.
