short from a distinguished director

Warning: Spoilers
This one of those 5 minute shorts that were made to be shown to wartime cinema audiences. These films used not journeymen talent but top notch directors including in this case Anthony Asquith. In this film the moral of the story seems to be that if you decide to travel at rush hour then you are likely to end up on the wrong bus!So given that rather daft idea i cannot see that the main aim of this short,to prevent casual busy use during the rush hour is likely to be served. Most bus routes that shared the same number are likely to share most of the same route.Anyway this is a rather humorous little anecdote told by a director who would go on to direct world stars in big budget films
