Great movie
BitterMan233 October 2005
Brady Hall has made one of the absolute best low budget independent films I have seen. Too many indies nowadays assume they need to be about a loner, his quirky family/friends, and a bunch of death cab for cutie music, but this film takes that preconception and shoves it up your tooter. You get monsters, music, public access, corpse desecration... all made with the same care and professionalism you would expect from a "normal" movie (which, of course, just makes it all the more funny). If you like random humor, then you'll love this. Any movie that has a guy listening to a tape of celebrity footsteps automatically gets an A from me. Sadly, I believe this may be the only one. Readily available on Netflix, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't check this out.

Benny, Marty and Jerkbeast strike comedic gold!

I've been a fan of these guys since their public access show came out in Seattle. My friends and I used to watch it then quote it all week. When I heard they were making a full-length Jerkbeast movie I was a tad skeptical, but this bad boy will really blow you away. I laughed my (butt) off for 83 minutes! It's very well-made and the random humor is quite original and surreal. Brady, Calvin and Brian are very talented and I hope they keep making movies (music too). The DVD comes with over an hour of highlights from the TV show, in all their venomous, adolescent glory. This was a real treat because my friend and I used to tape the show, but like most unlabeled VHS it got lost. If you've got an open mind and love to laugh, get your hands on JERKBEAST... I got mine at my favorite place on earth, Scarecrow Video in Seattle.

Frikin' great!

This is one of the greatest movies I have seen in the longest time!!! The plot is not so original, I mean, three guys getting together to form a band isn't uncommon or unheard of, but what happens through-out the course of this movie is where the excellence comes into play. This film is reserved only for those of a blackened humor and maybe those who have a despairing soul. Any person who likes "normal" humor might find the movie offensive, racist, sexist, perverted, and even destructive to the human soul; all these elements together made me fall in love with this movie. The movie really doesn't attempt to make any astounding messages to the viewer, other than the obvious message of "don't eat paint", and the movie ends somewhat near to where it began,, but I assure you, it is fully worth the time you spent watching this movie. "Sex, rabbits, and necrophilia" Baby!!
