All the nuts
bkoganbing15 February 2017
It was once said that the geography of the USA had it diagonally tilted so that all the nuts rolled down and accumulated in southern California. That's because of the preponderance of cults and wacky movements of all kinds originating in that part of the country. A cult is the subject of this 77 Sunset Strip episode.

Efrem Zimbalist is hired by some of the relatives of John Litel who is under some kind of strange control by a cult run by Andrew Duggan. They seem to be harbingers for hippies in the next decade. Walking around in robes and declaring themselves going back to the simple life before technology.

Of course Duggan is not all he seems and it's a good thing that Zimbalist has Roger Smith, Edd Byrnes and Louis Quinn to back him up. Although Quinn and Byrnes are not really effective undercover operators here. Neither of them can keep their minds off their interests in real life.

Duggan is really quite evil here, watch it and see what I mean.
