This decent-but not-super episode was different in that it actually had an intelligent ending. It was a surprise finish that most people wouldn't see coming and required a bit of brain power to figure out - at least more than what any young kid watching this show could figure out: scientific stuff involving radium.
Prior to that, the story concerns people buying supposedly genuine knifes that had been crushed on Superman's chest. They were fakes, but people who bought them from this eccentric old man and his shop, were soon mugged for those knives, leading one to believe one of the knives contained something valuable
The story, like a Charlie Chan or Sherlock Holmes, story, all fall into piece in the final minutes as Superman explains the whats and the whys.
