What's nice about this episode is that we get to meet Caroline's family for the first time, and to explore the dynamics between them.
The character of Charlie is also becoming more prominent, and there were some nice moments between him and Del in their story line, even if it was brief.
The character of Annie is also now fully defined and very funny.
