Angus Bistrong's mother Elena comes to the Cold Case unit with a plea to find out about his son's death. Angus was murdered in a style that followed closely to a film, but she was not satisfied with the explanation she got from the original explanation. Now, some twenty seven years later, she reaches out to get the closure she never got.
Angus was responsible for a terrible car accident that left paralyzed a young woman, Vicky Leoni, who had her life destroyed by what appeared a reckless accident. Now, years later, Vicky is wheel chair bound, and married to Ian McGowan, the fireman that saved her life. Kevin Bray, a frequent director of the series, is in command. The screenplay was written by Andrea Newman. The cast does a good job for Mr. Bray, notably Caryn West, Mimi Kennedy and Jonathan Murphy. Two of the Cold Case team are prominently featured, Thom Barry, and Sarah Brown who have personal issues unresolved.
