SOMETIMES - Humanity is all we got
Enrique-Sanchez-5622 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This episode is one where at the end we get a beautiful resolve - one that I remember from a very funny movie called The Russians are Coming x2. It is not a tacky ripoff because it is generations away from this episode and I say that because it might not be a familiar situation to much of today's audience so it is a worthy resolve to emanate again.

Sometimes two opposing sides can be joined when an outside threat appears that will join these sides. Sometimes adversity can bring out the best in us, as we have seen time and time again in our nation. I chuckled when I saw it coming but it was just as pleasurable when I saw it here. Early Edition is one of those series that will remain a reflection of the inner nature of man - although that might sound trite, a trope or what you may call it - but IT WORKS here and I am thankful I witnessed it - and I THANK those involved with this series to shed LIGHT upon us all.

We surely need as much light as possible now.

Suspension of belief
fuufuu-16 February 2015
Suspension of belief: you sure heard about it before, but it's been hard for me. It's been about 15years (at least) since the last time I've watched the show on cable TV and I decided to try it out again. maybe not the best choice, since only the third and forth season were available on streaming, but I decided to try it out.

The problem with this episode is quite common. On the first episode the writers aways try to impress you, but it went to far. Characters make stupid things just in order to the protagonist to solve everything on his own. A fat guy try to to save a kid in a rooftop of a church and gets stuck, the kids is saved in the last minute by the protagonist who just happened to do the same thing in the sequence before with his blind friend.

This episode melted every chance I had to try to watch this series again, it's too long and repetitive.
