Tiresome
Hitchcoc28 October 2019
I'm afraid that, having watched every episode in order, I am now going to have to watch that insufferable woman (Daphne's mother) for many more episodes. Her whiney, judgmental, demanding personality takes the starch out of everything. The secondary plot involves Frasier's feud with the upstairs neighbor. Frasier is obviously despised by all the condo residents. He has no allies. They instead support the handsome adversary.

Simon and Daphnes mum suck

Warning: Spoilers
Honestly im a huge fan of the show and most of the characters are brilliant but Simon and Daphnes mum are soo annoying and ruin this episode for me. Simons accent is horrible and he just isn't funny. Frasiers fued is alright but we have seen better. Also coming into the episode I wasn't at all interested or cared what happened to Daphnes mum and simon. The condo meeting is pretty well done and I think Daphne Niles and Roz were obviously great as always nothing new there. Nikes is definitely my favourite character.

In conclusion Daphnes mum and Simon are not good character and the rest of the episode is pretty decent.

Mother Load: Part 2
studioAT27 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode quite frankly stinks, and how the powers that be thought it was a good enough script to make it to air is beyond me. It's the second half of a two parter as well, so we're made to endure 'The Moon's' for longer.

From the very heavy helping of US patriotism (I know this was after 9/11, but it's very very jarring) to the horrible representation of the Brits, there's not much good to be found in this episode, and I don't like the way that Daphne and Niles almost become other characters in the process.

Poor old Frasier is almost side-lined in his own show here, such is the amount of time dedicated to mother Moon and the leech that is Simon.

Dire.
