The One With D.J.'s Thirteenth Birthday...
taylorkingston9 June 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoy this episode. It's funny and it's cool to see how excited D.J. gets because she finally turned thirteen years old.

In this episode, it's D.J.'s thirteenth birthday and she couldn't be happier. She's so excited to finally be a teenager. Whilst at her party, her first boy-girl party, she has her eye on Kevin and Kimmy thinks that playing Spin The Bottle will make a great impression. But when Danny, Jesse and Joey walk in mid-game, she gets very embarrassed.

Best part of the episode: When D.J. wakes Stephanie up in the middle of the night because she officially turned thirteen.

Worst part of the episode: D.J.'s embarrassment when Jesse, Joey and Danny walked in.

Overall, I give this episode a 7 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Great.

Entering Teenage-Hood.
Movie-ManDan17 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I've always liked the honesty in the growth of a young woman and the peer pressures that can arise. The peer pressure in this isn't a big deal because we all know all parties want it done. So there is a plot, but nothing mean-spirited. The good intentions make this a delight.

DJ turns the big (and unlucky) 13! With girls, puberty can usually be worse than with boys. Here, DJ is starting to like boys. She has her eye on a cute classmate named Kevin Gwynne. He is one that is invited to her birthday party. The rest of the Tanners agree to give DJ her privacy until they overhear them about to spin the bottle. Kimmy knows DJ likes Kevin, so she gets Kathy Santoni to help get everyone else to fix DJ kissing Kevin. Kimmy just wants DJ's night to be special nothing wrong with that. Kimmy starts it and has to kiss Jake Bitterman. With DJ and Kevin's nerves on high, the rest of the family parades in to break up the kissing party. Becky has a talk with DJ about the importance of a kiss and Kimmy explains her intentions. All this is done well. When Kevin comes back later to give DJ the card he lost, they finally kiss. How cute! And it was Candace Cameron's very first kiss in general. That makes it even cuter!

This episode is wonderful!
